AutoCAD/Replace Logo or company name on DWG

Question
I am dealing with Autocad 2000. One company has bought out another and now wants to change the name on all dwg's to reflect that. I don't seem to be able to edit this without exploding, if I do then all the attributes in the title block are gone, part#, date, designer name...ect. Is their an easy way to change this without recreating a whole new format or reinventing the wheel? It seems like the long way home to have to put in a new format and fill out all those feilds again on hundreds of prints. Would appreciate any help on this one. Thanks, Patrick

Answer
Hi Patrick, sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, the only way to fix your titleblock is to invasively go in each drawing and do the change (since it's not xrefed). However, you can try creating a batch routine to refedit your titleblock & for the rest of your dwg records. The easiest way to create a routine w/out knowing lisp is this program called Multi-batch.com. I've used it in the past & it worked very well for me. Hope it helps for you, let me know.
