AutoCAD/Text Question

Question
Bob,
I've never had this come up before, but now it has and I'm not sure what to do about it.  Is there a way (in AutoCAD 2002) to take multiple lines of Dtext and convert it to Mtext?
Thanks

Answer
Hi -- I remember seeing something about this in the Autodesk ACAD 2000 or 2002 discussion groups a year or so ago. I am using 2002 and 2004, but I don't run into old text needing converting. My best shot would be to say: copy and paste it into the Mtext Editor. (COPY. create Mtext box, paste.)
I am out of time, so may I suggest you go to Autodesk.com, navigate to the 2002 discussion, and do a search.

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
