Question
Bob
Just a quick question for you, I have just started using autocad2004 to do some conceptual drawings, and have been asked if I could put a watermark over the top of the drawings with writting including "conceptual only not for public release"
I am only new to autocad and can't find any hints on how to do this if you could lead me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi -- your intent kind of escapes me...
If the drawings are of architecture, etc, and you have them on a title block with your firm name, you might include some text with a disclaimer.
If it is just that they are rough, and you dont want a lot of people seeing them, dont send them to people whom you cant trust to not pass  them on.
- frankly the slogan you quote is wierd to me.

You missed telling me, besides the subject of the drawings, whether you are sending out the actual AutoCAD file, printed versions, pdfs, html, etc. If you send AutoCAD files, people can alter them.
If you are sending some representation such as a print, pdf, web page- and you need that slogan, simply create Mtext in AutoCAD and place it where you want.

If this does not help, write back and be much more specific please

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
