Question -
I have a room square foot celculation box that uses attributes; exp. showroom, restroom, display yard, service yard, and so on. I would like to creat a dynamic block that would let me see only one, or two, or three and so on. but when I create this dynamic block useing the visublity parameters and test it I get in the atrubute edit window the same attrubute over and over, and the atrubutes all show up even though the visibility paramites say that i sould only see one set. I tried to create the attrubutes in a block and create a dynamic block with the blocks. When I do that the visibility works I think but the the I cant edit the attributes. Any help would be greatful.

Answer -
I have been looking at this one for a day.  Dynamic blocks are great --- but I must say:
1-- You forgot to tell me whether you are on ACAD 2006 or 2007
2-- You have me stumped on this question-- I am going to have to ask someone else on your behalf.
3-- I am trying to wrap my mind around why you are attempting this, because the level of sophistication you want is a characteristic of ADT and Revit. (not in blocks, but in the programs)
4-- If you send your email, I will send some tutorials.

Answer
Hi -- I have to reply here, not just email, or the question hangs.  I will send you a bunch of links and docs.
I was not asking why you are doing it, but why you are doing something in AutoCAD that ADT and Revit do better, automate, and  create schedules for.
