Manu, my apologies for the long delay. to answer your question, just about any books out there will suffice & will cover the basics. it's also beneficial to read documentations in the net & specially Autodesk's website. Publications by Sybex are often intimidating because of its size but offers indepth details on the subjects & autocad functionalities. I myself owns several Sybex books ranging fr autocad basic/advance functions to programming (lisp/vba). Additionally, there are some really good websites out there that can help supplement your needs. If you ever require additional explanation, just drop me a line & i'd be more than happy to help!

best regards-
JB
