Answer I'd suggest investing on buying an autolisp book first. Trust me this'll come in handy. I've used "Autolisp Programming: Principles and Techniques" over the years as my ref. book - it covers your basics, commands used, & the scripting logics. It was published sometime back in '98, so it lacks the Visual Lisp functions, however this book is very informative & easy to follow instructions.
