AutoCAD/chamfering solid corners at an angle

Question
I am drawing a tool shed with four corner ridge rafters. I need to chamfer the corner of each top plate at a 27 degree angle. How do I do it? Have tried everything I know for a few days. NO LUCK!

Answer
Hi --
Sorry, you need to be very much more explicit--
-- your background, your AutoCAD release, purpose, and (most of all) what this means, so we dont have a back and forth of repeats
---Have tried everything I know for a few days.......
And I think the headline tells me you made the rafters and so on from solids -- even the blocks and posts?  Seems like overkill, since that would be 2D details to most people.
And -- of course, I think most of us would notch (birdseye) the rafters, not chamfer the top plate.
But maybe when you tell me the whole story I will get what you are doing, so try me!
