QuestionI'm gonna be working with an offsite AutoCAD company to convert files, plotting drawings and scanning paper drawings. The thing is that inever learn how to covert files and either scan it. Can you give a quick explanation. Thank You!
AnswerHi --
First of all, I never do that, but I do know something about it.
I cant really reply on your situation, because you dont tell me how many drawings, what condition they are in, and your purpose, or even your job (archtiect or ???)
I am presuming you are saying that you have paper drawings and an outside service will make them into AutoCAD. There are programs, such as Autodesk Raster Design, which do that, but often a lot of manual input is needed to make the drawings useable and accurate.
You can look up "convert to AutoCAD" -- and similar topics on Google, then see some written articles and tutorials on that.
Or--- maybe you are saying you are getting a job at that company. They should tell you how they work and what they want you to do. If you took the job and pretended you know this, I suggest you be more honest: if you dont know how to do it well, you will cause problems, so let them train you.
Write back if I have not guessed what you are doing and helped.
