Question
Yes I want to have a background of white color
How to do it?

Answer
Hi--
One thing I should have asked was "tell me your history with AutoCAD and what release you are using" -- I guess I think that is obviously needed, but few questioners do it.

Changing the background color is very basic, so it would seem you did not take an AutoCAD class. Depending on the release, you select TOOLS from the pulldown menus, then OPTIONS -- or right-click on the Command Line. Within Options, there are several tabs. One has the colors for all the parts that are displayed -- background for Model Space is the one you want: with a another pulldown, you may select any color. Later, change back to black, as yellow, for instance, shows lousy on white.

Normally one draws on layers with different colors in AutoCAD, and prints ONLY in black ink. The colors are there to make the drawing work better onscreen, and to help you keep to the right layers for each type of object.

It is essential to use HELP in AutoCAD so one does not become stuck in problems. For instance, try typing <<background color>> into the inquiry line. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to think of different words to enter, as AutoCAD does not always use words that you may find intuitively correct.

And, if you are using AutoCAD for work, not to take a class, or at the very least, get a good book and do all the lessons, plus the tutorials included in the program, is foolish. People who try to teach themselves usually learn bad habits and work slowly.
