AutoCAD/importing images

Question
So, I sometimes use AutoCAD as a graphic design layout tool. I know it's not ideal, but it usually satisfies my needs. Except for one hurdle that I cannot seem to overcome. Y'know when you import a photo, or any image for that matter, there seems to be an innate border around it. It seems to me like it behaves like a viewport. When I'm using AutoCAD for graphic design, I don't bother with Paper Space. But when I try to delete the line around a photo, the entire photo deletes, as if I were deleting a viewport. The border seems to be synonymous with the photo, so putting it on a frozen layer, or something similar, also puts the photo on a frozen layer. Anyway, my goal is to import photos into AutoCAD, but get rid of the border. Any suggestions?

Answer
I am in a crunch, cant look it up == but I think this is it.
The FRAME is what you are trying to hide --- BAD BOY, you didnt give the release number
Generally, if the image is selected, you can right click and turn off display of frames --- or type IMAGEFRAME and select OFF. You turn off every frame in the drawing or leave all of them on -- turn them back on to manipulate the image.
This can vary with the year of AutoCAD
Ask back with full info if I have it wrong for your situation.
