AutoCAD/increase dpi of tiff created with plot

Question
How can a tiff file (created in ACAD, starting with a .dwg) be made higher in resolution?  (I want to be able to view and distribute the tiff in various other applications.) I can't access the slider (stuck at 100 dpi) once I've opened plot, chosen TIFF (plotter config.), gone to properties, graphics, vector graphics.  I also tried another approach given at autodesk that had to do with user-defined paper sizes, etc.  (I use AutoCAD 2002).

Answer
George, first question is, what are u trying to do? u exporting a rendered image? exporting a 2D drawing in tiff for powerpoint presentation?
just fyi, resolutions on tiff, gif, & png files has their limitations & they are designed that way. However, other file formats like jpg has higher resolution w/ compression rates. the trick is to set to the biggest pixel setting available like around 1024x768 should suffice. that way, you can still scale things down for vivid resolution using raster editing software (photoshop). hope this helps!
