AutoCAD/jpeg to bmp

Question
I just bought Punch Professional Home Design Platinum and am definitely not a professional. I have Canon and Picasa software for my digital pictures. To do Landscaping, I want to insert a picture of our home, but it must be in BMP - Our pictures are JPEG. I know nothing about any of this. How do I change JPEG to BMP?

Answer
Judy -- this is a Windows question, or a photo-maging software question, having zero to do with AutoCAD. If  my reply does not help, look for someone in those fields.

However, it should simply be a matter of opening the photo in a photo or viewing program which allows the choice of formats when you do SAVEAS. You likely have some program like that on your computer.

By the way, as an Interior Designer, I think people are entitled to design their own homes, but, if the quality of the result is more important than keeping control 100% in your own hands, get a designer! (I guess I feel like a dentist whom people ask how to pull their own teeth- no one thinks of it as rude.)
