AutoCAD/keynote legend

Question
I have recently started using AutoCAD Architecture 2008 and my office has decided they want to use its features to standardize their drawings. I have been working with AutoCAD for about 10 years and have taken a few courses. I can usually figure these things out but I just can't seem to find anything that explains how to edit the keynote legend to automatically add a third column that shows the reference number along with the keynote number and description. I was looking for a quick fix instead of having to create a new one from scratch.

Answer
Hi -- I started to try to reply, then put it aside and forgot, it sorry.
First - DO NOT try to "figure out" ACA on your own. Get a good book (Paul Aubin is my favorite author), or a class. ACA is at least 5 times as complicated as bas AutoCAD, and you will waste a lot of time. (If you are a young super wiz, the tutorials and online info might do.)

I must apologize  that I have not gotten into 2008 properly yet. Historically, rather than creating a new object, you would copy the style, re-name, and modify. I do not know whether what you ask is possible.

Here is the Autodesk Discussion Group where some Guru will be able to answer you, if you post the question.

I did not find a similar question when I searched -- I was hoping to relay the answer to you.

Good luck

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
