AutoCAD/keynote legend

Question
I have recently started using AutoCAD Architecture 2008 and my office has decided they want to use its features to standardize their drawings. I have been working with AutoCAD for about 10 years and have taken a few courses. I can usually figure these things out but I just can't seem to find anything that explains how to edit the keynote legend to automatically add a third column that shows the reference number along with the keynote number and description. I was looking for a quick fix instead of having to create a new one from scratch.

I am not an Architecture user, but will still attempt to find an answer for this on your behalf.  Please stay tuned.

OK.  Even though I'm not an architecture user, I have a licensed copy.  I found the following:  That when I right click on a cell, close to the bottom is the word "columns", then Insert Right and Insert Left.  I clicked on Insert Right and it created a new column to the right.  I hope this helps.

Good luck with ADT.  Your boss is a little more adventurous than mine.  Mine doesn't want to give any one of the four of us the time to learn AutoCAD Architecture (or ADT as it was previously called).  Therefore, we're still making 2D plans, and probably will always do so, unless we hire somebody who already knows the software.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
