Question
I am running ACAD Mech. 2004 DX.

How can i add a leader and show the text as i type in its placement?  When i use the qleader command the text is only showing up in the command line.  Not till i hit enter it shows up in its placement.

Answer
Mike,

Unfortunately, this is how this autocad feature was written. However, you can use 2 separate commands to accomplish your inquiry. Invoke a qleader & set it w/ out annotations, then use dtext command. This can also be automated thru lisp/macros. Hope this helps!
