Answer
Hi --
You need to be very confident in use of layouts and paper space, if you want to turn out student projects properly, and if you want to work in an architecture office. It is a shame you have not been given the proper courses in school, so you have mastered ps and plotting.
I am going to tell you to purchase a good book on AutoCAD. I would need 2 or 3 chapters to get these concepts across. I suggest you go to a large store, or browse online, and see which book is for you.
Do all the exercises in the book. Then, as you do your student work, when you make a few errors and have to correct them, the process will sink in. That is how we all learn.
Good luck

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
