Question
is there a quick way to purge layer filters other than opening layer manager ande deleting individually? i am using AutoCad 2000

Answer

Are you wanting to remove unreferenced layers? If so, use 'Purge' command:

Command: -pu
-PURGE
Enter type of unused objects to purge []: la
Enter name(s) to purge <*>: *
Verify each name to be purged? [Yes/No] <Y>: n

This should take care of all unreferenced layers.

If you want to explicitly remove certain layers then the the Layer Prop Man is your best bet. Hold 'Ctrl' key, select indiv layers, & delete.

Hope this helps, good luck!
