AutoCAD/regedit message

Question
Aloha from Hawaii,

My question concerns an AutoCAD alert I always receive upon startup. The message is copied verbatim below:

A bad profile is specified in the command line: C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Architectural 2\adt.arg  The current profile name specified in the registry will be used.

So, I located the "bad profile" in question, and it is a Photoshop file that will not open. It opens in the notebook program, however, and displays the word "regedit", which a coworker has informed me is a problem that most likely occurred while registering the product. This is a legally obtained program. My question is, what's the next step to resolving this issue? Incidentally, the alert message doesn't seem to affect the running of the program itself. I just click 'ok' and everything seems fine.

FYI - AUtoCAD 2000i

Thanks!

Answer
Hi -- don't take more advice from that friend. Regedit refers to editing the Windows Registry. Better advice would be to reinstall everything.
ADT.arg would seem to be from Architectural Desktop 2 or maybe 2i, not from AutoCAD, and certainly not from Photoshop -- so you lost me there -- and should not be there if you have plain AutoCAD.
If you are using the software for any kind of complex work, you are not doing yourself a favor by sticking to the 5 year old version, if you do not mind my saying so. If you do have ADT2 or 2i and are trying to work on it, I am tempted to call you a masochist, as those were horrible early releases -- 2006 is 10 times as good, half the trouble.
Good luck with the problem -- again, it just sounds like a combination clash of old software, which a re-install should fix.
