Question
Can you help me find out how to set the middle wheel button on the mouse to zoom and pan. Im not sure where to set it. Im currently using R14. Thank you for your response.
ps is ther a properties box like on 2002 version for r14

Answer
Dave:
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Release 14 of AutoCAD didn't have the intellizoom and middle button panning feature.  That came with Release 2000.  Third party software like Softdesk and Sketchup offered middle button pan and zoom capabilities and some required a Logitech mouse to do it.  Details are here for sketchup:

A tablet called Newsketch boasted auto-panning, scrolling and zoom in/out by touching the middle button of a 3 button mouse.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
