Question
Moving from model space to layout in release 2002 the program operates extremely slow (opening "page set-up"). Also true when opening the print dialogue box and the program slows down after a number of "undo" commands. All other autocad operations are satisfactory.

-- overtaxed, old computer (You should mention your computer specs when discussing slowness)
-- layer filters needing to be deleted (see Help)
-- the page setup dialog opening is wierd, so I am going to guess you have some customization gone bad.  You might need to do a repair installation, remove customization, and put it back one item at a time.
Do you use the buttons on the status bar, type, or click the tabs to go from MS to PS?
