Question
Some blueprints we get have hole dimension in a straight beam. But we get the beam with the camber in it. blueprints dont show hole the dimension with the camber. is there some program we can use that simply but in the dimension of the straight beam then input the camber and show where the hole should be.
thanks
Chris

Answer
Hi--
Remember, you are talking to an Interior Designer.  If you want to ask a Structural Engineering question, you are going to have to explain better -- for instance, I have no idea of where the hole in that beam is, although I looked up beams with camber.  If you mean that the beam is hollow, I would imagine the opening is also cambered?  Steel? Concrete?? There are also a few confusing words in your question.
It sounds as if you are purchasing beams -- wouldn't the supplier be able to give you info? Or do you mean you have to draw the beams in order to have them fabricated????

I will try  to help, but I would need more info.  You might be better to look for an online forum which deals with your industry.
