Question Hi Michael,
I've got a bit of a bizarre question, i need a celeb (namely J DEPP) to sign a BOOK for me,
Do you reckon if i send the book to sign, and a request of what to say (happy birthday ---) telling him how good he is and the reason for this bizarre request, that he'll send the book back with the required message on the book...
i will also send the international postage coupons (to post back to the UK) for return postage.. if that ain't gonna work can you please please please give me a solution...
By the way, i understand for Mr Depp - Spanky Taylors is the address to send them to...

Answer Unfortunately Mr. Depp is one of the top A list actors in the business and clearly receives more fanmail than he could ever handle. The chances of you getting an AUTHENTIC signature back from Depp during the peak of his career is highly unlikely. If this is something worth something to you, I'd suggest you contact a reputable dealer either out of NY or CA and potentially hire them to have him sign the book. Average Depp signed photos go for upwards of $200, so I can't see anyone asking for more than that, and he's a good signer so it wouldn't be that hard. I think you'd just be throwing away good money otherwise and possibly would never see the book back.
