Question
Hello,

Firstly, i would like to ask if you can give your opinion on the authenticity of a John Lennon signed guitar that i have got. You can see a selection of pictures at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Wz4Fs1oZ-I

And secondly, i am going too write to some celebritys requesting an autograph. What do you think could maxiumize my chances of getting a reply? (E.G:- What do you say in the letter, Etc...).

Thanks.

Jake

Answer
Unfortunately we no longer do authentication but here is a scan of an authentic John Lennon guitar so you can make the decision for yourself if you think that the guitar was signed by the same person that signed this autograph:

As far as success, I'd suggest doing a google search for Throgh The Mail autograph success and then find who was successful recently and then write an honest letter to each.  Best of luck.
