Question
I have a 1982 jeep p/u j20 360 i use it to haul stone & firewood around
property.My problem is last year it started to run real rough and I let
it sit for winter well I started up today after changing rotor and
cap,plugs. now it idles real nice but once I put in in gear it bogs
down.I'd appreciate any tips. Thank's Kyle

rotor cap plugs and wires?.did you change the wires?...also time for a fuel filter and check the EGR valve.If this valve sticks after sitting it will cause idle probs especially with the chrysler motors.Bogging down under load suggests the idle air control motor/ solenoid usually on the top of the engine ,thats a job for a tech.I would say its the EGR ,,,,,more than likely cos the car sat for a while,but worth having the engine looked at by an expert.Check all vacuum hoses also...see if theyre leaking as this will cause the problem as well.
