Question hey i just bought a nice old 1985 dodge d150 or "ram 150 royal se" and she starts and runs fine just sometimes she wont quiet want to get running. so i was wondering maby i need a higher volt battery? or are the engines just susceptible to cold and warm? maby starter problems? i dunno just give me a couple of things that you know that may fix or analyze the problem thanks
Answer If that's the original Starter, it may be on it's way out, and unfortunately, I'm not aware of any Meter available to consumers, that can test a Starter. Therefore, replacing the Starter, is your only option, and then you'll have to see how things go from there.
