QuestionI have already done that twice and there wasn't an abnormal amount of trash on the magnets or in the tranny do you think it is possible that the electronic silonoids in the trans could be causing most of or some of the trouble?-------------------------

my probes tranny worked perfect one day and then the next day it would drop out of gear instead of changing gears then i'd have to stop turn it off wait a few seconds restart it and do the same thing over and over. then i changed the fluid and flushed it out 3 times but the fluid wasn't burnt or anything. then i gave up until about a month later i just decided to crank it up to keep the engine oiled and i put it in gear and drove it all over the county that day and it worked perfect again. then the next day same thing again.also i noticed that my torque converter makes a high pitched whinning noise since it started this hope you can help me i'm about ready to just run it into the river and be done with it.

your transmission will require an overhaul. or @ very least an internal inspection and a torque convertor overhaul. Take the pan of if its got one and inspect the magnetts 1st
AnswerOk well if thats the case then, I think you should take this car to a professional auot trans, rebuilder to be asessd, tell them the same thing you told me, including the fact that you have had the pan of to check the condition of the magnets. This will let the mechanic know that you do have an idea of what you are doing (without being a bighead about it). This is definatly a problem that I would not try to diagnose over the internet. Hope I have been of some help.
