Question
I changed the spark plugs the other day. I have not been able to get it to run right since. I know some cars are picky with plugs. I tried properly gapped NGK, Champion, and Autolite plugs. Then I just put the old ones back in and tried new plug wires. I couldn't even get it to start in some cases. One time I accidentally didn't plug in the Mass Air Flow Sensor and it ran much better but still hesitates, idles rough, and uses way too much gas. I moved the airbox which is connected to the MAF sensor to get to the plugs. I just wanted to get your opinion before I spend $200 to $350 on a MAF sensor. I got the codes read today and it said there were plug misfires. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Answer
If the car ran better without the MAF sensor, then it is faulty.NGK are the correct plugs but check the wiring for the injectors.Make sure they are working ok.Also check the compression on all cylinders before you change anything else.As with the fuel pressure and fuel regulator,Egr valve is working ok.
