hi i have a 97 civic the rear door acts like it is loced neather door handle will open it any suggestions as to how to ripair this

Answer
You will have to remove the door panel from the inside,tricky but possible then look at the rod to the lock i would think its came off.There is no other way to open it.Short of destroying the outer door.Is the child proof lock on ?.its on the door check.But again you need the door open to see.
