QUESTION: i recently swaped a 93 1.6 for a 91 1.5 because of money.i got it fired off for a split second it died,now it sounds like my timing belt broke.cheked to see if it jumped time marks are all in line,rotates but will not start.any help will be greatly appreciated.thank you

QUESTION: sorry.93 honda civic ex ,motor not sure because the motor came with purchase of car because the 1.6 was fried payed 250 for everything

If the belt is ok and the timing is correct,valve and ignition,then look for spark at the plugs or fuel pressure at the injector rail.If all are ok which i would think not,then check engine for compression on all cylinders.Why do you think the belt broke?If any engine is timed correctly with the right amount of fuel/air,and a good spark,it will run so one is off.
