Question
I have a 1999 honda civic 1.8l engine. My car doesn't like to start after -10, even if it is plugged in.turns over but won't start.Boyfriend will put a little bit of of ether in cold air tank wait couple min try again and it works. Please help this has been quite stressful. What do you think it might be?

Answer
At minus 10,the fuel/air mix is probably frozen and the car starts because you are bypassing this mix with ether so,its the extreme cold and no easy cure but i have heard of a block heater which is placed on the engine overnight and prevents this problem occuring.Check at your parts store.
