Automotive - Rough Idle

Expert: Ron Cris - 1/12/2008

Question
I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra with an automatic transmision, and about 90,000 miles. I live in minnesota and starts and runs fine until its warm. Once the car is warm, when I come to a stop it idles rough almost to a stall. When you accelerate again it hesitates then takes off and runs fine until I come to a stop again. The spark plugs have about 5,000 miles on them.

Answer
check for a broken or loose vacuum hose or bad pcv valve..
thats what it sounds like to me..
Check the EGR valve also......

Good luck..
