Question
This vehicle tend to not start in the summer during hot weather after driving it around the city for about an hour.  The car would need to sit for about an hour before it would start again and appears to be hot under the hood.  We have no trouble with the vehicle in the fall, winter and spring.  The vehicle only has 42,000 miles.

Answer
Some Starters suffer from 'Heat Soak' in warmer weather, and it is possible that this is what is happening in your car. Other than swapping out the Starter, and if there's enough space to do so, fabricating a 'Heat Shield' for it to protect it from the Engine Compartment heat, I don't know what else you can do for this problem.
