Question
I have 87 honda accord hatchback, brake lights stay on with key removed, fuses under dash removed.(all) I removed fuse under hood, I have no diagram so I don't know which one, (2nd one from top right,) brake lights went out. as I said I have no manual or can't find it, or a schematic to help. out of ideas.

Answer
Replace all the fuses. If you look under the brake pedal, there is a small push button type switch which works when you press the brake. This is why the brake lights stay on because its probably stuck on.Thats to say its all the way in and cannot release.Remove the 2 wires and the lights should go off.If so, replace the switch with a new one.If the lights dont go off,get back to me but im 99% sure this is the cause.
