my 94 lexus es300 is blowing hot air out of vents periodically without ac\heat on but cooling gauge is normal.is this unusaual?thermostat?
The thermostat is ok if the car is not overheating and the heater is working as it should.Hot air from the vents is normal especially in hot weather as it comes from the engine and theres no way to cool it unless you turn on the a/c.If you mean your blower works by itself then the fault may be in the climate control unit/switch.
