Question
im not exactly car savvy, and im not sure if its the battery itself or the terminal, im just going to try the terminal first, as i heard it was a good idea being that its considerably cheaper than a new battery, but im scared to put it on...seeing as i dont know how...if theres a special way to do it...if i could be harmed in the process..etc...so would it be too much to ask for specific instructions on how to replace it?

Answer
You will not get a shock changing the battery or terminals and many people think this. Its 12 volts, not like the house current and you will only get a shock from the ignition with the engine running but thats not where you will be at.A simple job to change the terminals.First remove the negative with key out engine off. Then remove the red or plus side and change the terminal/s or battery.Replace in reverse order, red first then negative.Tighten all and youre good. With new terminals you will need to cut or splice the wire into the new one so i would find a handy guy or shop who will not charge you a fortune for this as its a simple 20 min job.Thats if you cant do it yourself.
