Question
QUESTION: My van is running rough and choking to the point that it died in traffic and would'nt start again up I suspect its the fuel filter as after having it towed the jostling around seemed to fix it then it re-clogged before I could drive far. Where is the filter for these vans I was once told its actually inside the gas tank is this true? How do I replace it and do you know what part it would be ? MY VIN # is 2GBEG25H8J4109455 with a 350 V8 in it. ThANKS

QUESTION: Oh I am sorry I forgot the year and make..Its a Chevy 3/4 ton conversion van is a V8 with a 350 engine in it.
Thanks and my apologies,
Scila

Answer
The fuel filter will be inline under the rear axle on the drivers side.If you look at the fuel lines coming from the tank ,you will see it.Its a small cylinder which chevy have put on these engines/vans and is ridiculously too small and will burn out your fuel pump if not changed regularily, every 10 000 miles.
