Question i need a step by step guide to bleeding my clutch on my 96 eagle talon. The clutch goes all the way to the floor. pictures would be nice, or a place where i could find pictures of a master cylinder, and slave cylinder.
Answer Have you installed the new master and slave cylinders? If you need pics of these parts, google them or try ebay.Autozone is good also for instructions and pics.Bleeding is simple.Have someone inside the car and fill the fluid container under the hood.Pump the pedal 10 times(all the way up,all the way down) then hold down to the floor.Release the bleed nipple and then you should hear air coming from the slave cylinder.Tighten the nipple(still foot on the floor)Repeat this until the pedal is hard.Dont forget to hold the pedal down as youre opening the bleeder or you will lose all the pressure and have to start again.
general auto repair, japanese, bmw, mercedes, mini cooper 1960/2009,general british cars, ford.I DO NOT work on automatic transmissions.Manual transissions i install clutches only. Many people ask me to diagnose noises from their cars, unfortunately i cannot do this unless i hear it.As you appreciate, vehicles can and will make a variety of noises.I DONT UPGRADE or fit aftermarket performace kits, parts, chips, only replacement parts.
