Question
i have a 98 ford  explorer and i cant find the heater control valve i was told it was on the block i was just wondering if someone knew where it may be

Answer
The heater valve is usually on the firewall. If you follow your heater hoses you will see it.They are the 2 hoses about 1 inch in diameter they come from the cylider head/engine block.Your heater valve may be on the heater core as Ford did change the set up several times.
