i am trying to find a ring and pinion gear set for a 1995 nissan maxima i have tried nissan dealer told me i had to replace the transmission that i cant replace ring and pinion so do you know if there is anyway or anywhere i can find this ring and pinion gear set

Answer
If the dealer says no,then i wouldnt know anywhere else.If the factory doesnt supply these parts then its a transmission swop.You could try to Google these parts and see what comes up or ask a different transmission shop.I personally do not repair transmissions.If you did get these parts,the labor cost to rebuild this transmission and the special tools you will need would probably cost as much as a used transmission.
