Automotive/1993 Nissan Sentra

Question
OK, I bought a used 93 Sentra that seemed to run well when its running, Tho, at times, esp. if its wet outside, it does'nt want to start. This only occurs tho it seems if we have freezing rain/sleet conditions. I have had this car covered in a foot plus of snow and it has started fine as well as in just normal rain. Any ideas on what may be causing it to do this? Thanks, Pat

Answer
Have you looked at the usual tune up components?Plugs, cap, rotor.Air filter/fuel filter.A bad cap will arc with wet conditions and make the car hard to start.Bad wires may also cause this.Unusually it can be the MAP or MAF sensor which is what controls the air/fuel mix when you start the car up, but you would get a check engine if any faults were there.
