Question
ok, i have a 1996 prelude i just bought. i have been told that since the battery has been out of it for like a month. to pass smog now i must drive around now about 250 miles befor i try to pass it, or it will fail..is this true?. and why..how long would you drive it..Thanks Duane sr.

Answer
Do not see why you would have to drive it for so long. Some cars have "relearn" on the computor but most will do this in a short time such as 10 minutes.Honda does not have this and will be ok to smog if you install the battery and drive it for one day.Give it a good hard drive to really heat the cat and engine.Say 50 miles.
