Question
QUESTION: Hey
I have a 98 prelude and the other day I found a puddle on my backseat floor driver side...as well as the front driver side. A buddy suggested AC condenser plug? Any ideas? The head liner, roof, windows and pass side carpets are all dry. Any suggestions?

Thanks I Appreciate the advice
Ryan

ANSWER: Was it raining?I ask because the a/c is usually on the passenger side.

QUESTION: yes it was raining quite heavily.......does not seem to be leaking anywhere else though. I had noticed a bit of wet carpet a couple weeks earlier on the front drivers side floor???

Answer
Its doubtful that it is the A/C.It wouldnt leak that much.I dont know if you were running the A/C,i assume you were not.It is most likely the windshield rubber. You can reseal it with a seal gun which you can get at the parts store.Simply seal the rubber all the way around ,top and bottom.Between the rubber and the body of the car then wipe off any access sealant. From experience, this is the most common cause for wet carpets if there are no obvious signs of leaks from the side windows etc,
