Question
I need instructions on how to install a transmision shift cable for a 5 speed, Saturn 1995 SL 2 DOHC.

I have a Haynes Repair Manual but it looks like its for a automatic trans.

It looks like a double cable.Best way to fit the new one is look carefully at the old one.You may need to jack the car up as the cable will have to go through the firewall or it may go under the car.I have never fitted one so its a look and see job for you.Your manual will have some info on manual transmissions so read all there is.You will most likely also have to remove some interior parts such as the centre consul for access.It looks to me like the cable hooks on to the transmission and travels back through the engine to the shifter.Sorry i cant be specific.
