Question
How do I install a clutch cable on a 1991 VW Golf?

Answer
I suggest you get a Haynes or Chiltons for this car as this is a real pain to do.But,if youre going to then the easiest way is to unhook the cable from the pedal first, then feed in the new one and hook it up.Ok,so far its easy.If this is a self adjusting cable, you are going to have trouble but this car i think is not so bad.Simply connect the end with the threads and lock nut to the lever for the clutch and tighten until the pedal is normal with no slip or drag.If it is self adjusting, very difficult.Which one do you have?
