Question I need to know if i need a valve job ? I have a gmc 2 350 5.7 ltr. and the problem is the hose going into my valve cover is supposed to be pulling clean air but instead its blowing white smoke and oil into my breather and pushing my pcv valve right out of its hole on opposite side of engine
Answer It is probably not a valve..
you may have a damaged piston or broken piston rings..
that is the most common cause of blowby gases as you described..
you may need to replace or rebuild your engine..
Good luck..
