Question
After doing an "engine swap" on a BMW 325I, I have no oil pressure. I swapped the oil pump with a Known good part, still no pressure. Is there a way to "prime" the oil pump???

Answer
Some oil inside before you fit it is enough.Did you check the oil pressure guage?Try a new pressure switch.A good way to see if the pump is working is,remove the valve cover and look to see if the oil is getting up to the valves, while the engine is turning over but dont start it up.Disable the ignition.
