Question
hi. i have some problems that i can't figure out on this car.....first of all the car makes the power steering noise when idle and makes a louder noise when i rev it to 2000rpm even when turning it and reving it. i took out the reservoir one day and dumped all the old dirty looking fluid and added a bottle of Lucas power steering fluid after plugging in the hoses again. it worked great! the noise stopped and then i ended up filling it back up again with regular Honda spec fluid. after driving for 45 mins, i noticed the reservoir was low and the noise came back. i filled it up and its been the same since. the noise is still there but the bottle is actually at good height. what can i do to fix this? i was thinking about taking out the reservoir again and putting only Lucas power steering fluid. how can i drain it in a better or the right way of doing it?

also i have a stiff clutch that gets stuck sometimes when engaging it??? yeah when i let go of the clutch it gets stuck sometimes and then it kicks the bottom of my shoe?? my car often jumps cause it gets stuck and then when its time to go, it jumps with the clutch.....??? i lubbed the pedal with some lubricant so it's not that bad as before but it still gets stuck? i was driving the other day and i guess before that day, i had adjusted the clutch cable tighter and now, my car seems like it's running out of clutch cause it revs and doesn't pick up? lowered the tightness of the cable and now its a little better.....can it just be the clutch that is doing all these problems to the car? well i mean by the stuck clutch pedal???

one last thing is that the ac/heater unit only blows on high but not on low or semi-low or semi-high?? one of my buddies told me that it was the blow motor resistor??? think that might be the problem???please let me know! thank you for your time and sorry it's so long.

Answer
The clutch problem is the assembly especially the throw out bearing and pressure plate. They will both need replaced. The blower is the resistor or possibly the switch and the power steering noise is most likely the pump bearing or pump itself which needs replaced.Do not use lucas in this car as it uses only Honda power steering.
