Question
I have a 1992 Saturn SL 2.  It shakes when you get it on the highway, up around 50 to 60 depends.  It shakes to the right.  there is no grinding or any other kind of noise. I took it to a mechanic, to try to get it alingment, and they told me they couldnt align it because it needs new wheel bearins. They wanted to charge me 800.00.
Then I also have a problem where the gas gage and the temp, and the oil, they keep moving like back and froth, someone told me it was my sensors that are doing that.
I apperciate the help, in what to do

Answer
What to do?Well, thats your call either have it repaired or sell it and buy a new car.Sounds like a Saturn with a lot of miles needing all the usual wear and tear items.Sensor for the oil, sender unit, temp sensor or wiring. As for the front end,it probably needs a lot of work and parts and to be honest,it would not be worth 800 dollars to repair. My advice is sell it and buy another car. Then, its up to you.To put the car right, you would be looking at $1000 or maybe more depending where you go.Thats being cheap.A 16 year old Saturn on kelly blue book is probably worth $600.thats in fair shape.
