Question i just had my car painted and they told me when i picked it up that they wanted to hold it for another day due to the rain. they said the rain would leave spots on it. is this true
Answer If the paint was just applied that day, I would say it would not be a good idea to expose the car to rain that soon, even if the paint was baked on. While the surface is hard, the paint itself is still what they call soft, and the garbage mixed in with the Rain water, would very likely eat into a freshly applied paint job.
