Question
My check engine light has been on even after I paid huge$$$ for the mechanic to fix and run through emissions checkpoint. The 2000 Toyota Corolla is recently misfiring with a PO 300 code. I'm due for emissions check soon, too. My priority is the misfire. What do you think, Sean?

Answer
Multiple misfires could be plugs or wires. You will need to have the problem looked at by a good tech.It is also possibly the ignition module but that can only be diagnosed by a mechanic. There are some procedures to go through before putting new parts in the engine.
